Medical Benefit Workshop for Former Nuclear Workers

Former nuclear workers may qualify for financial compensation and no-cost medical benefits for life through the Department of Labor’s EEOICPA program. Former Lawrence Livermore, Sandia, and Berkley RadLab workers are invited to attend a free Resource Workshop to learn more about the program and their benefits.

The Resource Workshop is free to attend for former workers and their family members. It will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 10am – 11:30am at the Watermark at Rosewood Gardens, 35 Fenton St., Livermore, California 94550. Due to limited seating, former workers are asked to RSVP by calling (925) 344-6467.

At the event, former workers will have the opportunity to learn more about their medical benefits from Laura Welsh, Community Outreach Manager and EEOICPA Benefits Specialist at Nuclear Care Partners. Workers are encouraged to bring any paperwork or correspondence they have had with the Department of Labor, medical records for the illness they are filing for, and any other documentation pertinent to their EEOICPA claim.

Nuclear Care Partners provides EEOICPA benefits guidance and no-cost in home care to former atomic workers who have developed serious illnesses due to radiation and toxic exposure they endured in the workplace. For more information call 925-453-3803 or visit
